Patient Room 2020 was a connected hospital room prototype developed by DuPont and NXT Health. During stakeholder testing, participants needed to operate table and doorway interfaces while following detailed instructions.
I translated the technical manual into a quick-reference guide designed specifically for the testing environment. Rather than a traditional booklet, I created a three-panel format printed on heavyweight stock that folded into a freestanding guide, keeping instructions visible while leaving participants’ hands free to interact with the prototype.
