A self-directed cookbook celebrating the egg in all its forms. Egg-cellent Recipes began as an exploration of how a familiar, everyday ingredient could become the basis for an entire visual identity, spanning editorial design, illustration, photography, and stop motion. I explored several visual directions before building the final system around the egg itself, drawing from its simple shapes, warm colors, and imperfect forms. Each recipe was given its own composition and personality, while a consistent palette, typography, and illustration style tie the book together as one visual world.
